For over 70 years Detroit has designed and built heavy-duty engines for the commercial truck market. Engines range from 350 to 600 hp (260 to 448 kW). Designed for in-town, construction and less-than-load (LTL), the DD13 is known its fuel-economy, 50,000 mile service intervals, and BlueTec® emissions technology. The DD15 powers the Cascadia Evolution, and is the most efficient truck in the industry. The DD15TC is Detroit’s workhorse; fuel-efficient and reliable, the engine will last for more than a million miles. For extreme duty, heavy hauling the Detroit’s DD16 produces 2050 lb-ft of torque and 600 HP.
